TRIAL OF RAPTURE ON SATURDAY NIGHT:
A DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET.
Some years ago. A
man of God who lived in our 2nd flat woke up around 1.30am to visit the toilet.
He discovered that both
his wife's and the children rooms were left opened.
He made an enquiry visit
to the room, but to his surprise he met the rooms empty.
He rushed down to the
living room; he saw the main entrance wide opened and empty.
So the man ran to his
bedroom, jumped on his bed and close his eyes to re-sleep.
Suddenly a questioning small
voice whispered to him, what if they have been raptured? he jumped out of the
bed with both eyes and mouths wide opened. he began to shake violently.
There was such a panicking
silence within and without. He had forgotten that it was night. He began to
confess the uncommitted sins. He began to search the scriptures for the time
and the signs of rapture. The man of God
was about to collapse when suddenly he remebered I and my family in the next
flat. I am the saint in our family.
So he surmoned courage and
decided to come down to our flat and see if anyone is left to tell the story.
He, of no doubt, had been
defeaned by horror of loosing rapture without a known sin for it.
When he got to our kitchen
door it was wide opened as well which made him to be more frightened to half
death. By the time he entered into our sitting room where he met all of us and
his children watching movie, he was already in the semi final to death.
The man of God shouted, Bro
Stephen what has happened? where had everyone go? we are all here sir! his
daughter was quick to reply.
He said, do you mean you
all missed it too? his first son answered, what? he said I meant rapture. for
few minutes there were confusion and commotion within us.
Later, I said but I have
not committed any sin that warrant hell. So I dont believe it. The man of God
was still agonizing the departure of her wife at rapture when the children said
but mummy is sleeping on a mat at the back of her bed. Our noise attracted
others from their bed. Even as we were argueing, the woman came in to warn us
that it was deeply late in the night and we should stop the noise, but instead
of stopping we shouted the more for joy. She was embarrassed. Until she heard
all the story she never knew the cause of our shouting.
She was a yardstick for
measuring rapturable saints because of her perfect and spotless Christian
living.
What if Christ comes
today, is your christian life anything to shout for joy over? Or shall we shout
to bemourn your lost soul to fire of hell?
That day was a test on our
faith. But the real RAPTURE is coming soon.
It was on Saturday night
via Sunday morning, we could not sleep untill dawn. You dont want to know our
report in the church the following morning.
The time of this trial
rapture further tells us that , the real rapture may take place before the day
break tomorow.
Watch and pray.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass
away, till all be fulfilled.

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with
surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon
you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole
earth.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
